Gimlet

Legend has it that this little gem of a cocktail was born in the British navy over 100 years ago as a way to combat scurvy. Here is our recipe for the Jake’s Gin Gimlet, good enough for Admiral Lord Nelson himself!

INGREDIENTS

60ml Jake’s Gin

Add ice

25ml Lime juice

25ml simple syrup

INSTRUCTIONS

Shake the Gin, Lime Juice and simple syrup with ice.

Double strain into a goblet & garnish with a lime twist or a lime wheel if you feel less ambitious.

Jake’s Top Tip: Try key lime instead of just normal lime, its sweater so you can add less simple syrup.
